Radiohead’s new video for their song House of Cards. It’s a very interesting video. If you liked the video you should watch the making of it.
The making of House of Cards
I have an unhealthy obsession with Dubai and Sheikh Zayed Road in particular. I know I need help but it’s amazing how fast this place is growing. To emphasize this I will include a picture of Sheikh Zayed Road in 1991 and 2005. The differences is amazing but the change is only emphasized by the differences between 2005 and 2008 that you can see in video. Oh, and for those not in the know, that really tall building in the background and off to the left is the WORLDS TALLEST building at over 800 meters (thats twice as tall as the empire state building!).
Below is the picture of Sheikh Zayed Road between 1991-2005. Amazing, right? I know.
Remember this picture next time you fill your car up.
Light Emitting Textiles are exactly what they sound like. Philips has developed a fabric that can produce light and focus it to produce images on, say, a shirt. This new technology is called Lumalive… not sure if I love the name… anyway… its not the craziest thing I’ve ever seen but I find it amusing… some might say amazing.
