I don’t want to be “that guy” but I did not like this movie.  There is no reason to listen to me because, apparently, the movie is well received on IMDb, by critics, and other people I know (who told me to see it and I’ll never again take advice from).  I figured it would be okay but I just wanted it to be over.  I have a slightly different taste in movies so… maybe that’s the problem but I wouldn’t ever recommend someone see this and will never watch it again.  I feel like Mr. Ferrell needs to change it up a little.  He’s the same F-ing character in every film.  It’s old and not funny.  Anyway… If you see it and like it… you’re stupid… so there.

While we’re on the subject (see ludacris post), this is like watching Bush cut down a tree to appeal to working class southern men (and about as genuine); except strike working class southern men and replace it with middle class middle aged white women. I understand obama wants to win, so I can’t criticize him for playing the game. I can, however, criticize the American voters for not having enough respect for their country and forcing the candidates to do stupid, meaningless, “I could relate to that guy” crap.  On the bright side, he does punch like a champ.

P.S. If someone forced you to do this, how much respect could you have for them?  I can only imagine the derogatory thoughts going through his head keeping him smiling.

Ludacris raps about Obama.  Thankfully the Obama campaign has “condemned” the song.  When I saw luda at the White House Corespondent’s Dinner, I cannot have guessed he’d go political. Tool.
