…that is all.
Ok… so this is kind of old but I still think its cool.
Want to build a multitouch pad for $5-$50? Hummmm…. can it be done? YES!!! Below is a video on how to do it, followed by a link to the guys site where you can find the software to run it. All-in-all its really cool.
Don’t have a Multitouch Table yet? Have one, but need something smaller for testing? Building a small portable multitouch pad will allow you to test software and experiment on a smaller scale while building your full table or when away from your multitouch screen. Have fun and make a MTmini! This uses Front Diffused Illumination, with normal ambient light (infrared not required or needed) and a normal off-the-shelf webcam (IR filter can still be in place).
Light Emitting Textiles are exactly what they sound like. Philips has developed a fabric that can produce light and focus it to produce images on, say, a shirt. This new technology is called Lumalive… not sure if I love the name… anyway… its not the craziest thing I’ve ever seen but I find it amusing… some might say amazing.
This is quite possible the most racist thing I’ve ever seen.
